Registration deadlines for courses

The time window in which students can subscribe for modules and courses is called the "registration period". The date until which enrollment is possible is the "registration deadline". Students must register for courses and modules within these periods if they wish to participate in them in subsequent semesters. Registration after the respective enrollment period has expired is not possible. All enrollments must be made via the Campus Management System "HISinOne", unless otherwise specified. Video instructions on how to enroll in courses and modules can be found on ILIAS under "Informationen zum Studium".

Registration period for winter semester 2023/24

Bachelor of Science Biology

  • July 1 until August 28, 2024: Profile modules biology (as of 3rd semester)
    • A list of these elective modules can be found in the module guide
  • July 1 until September 2, 2024: Basic modules biology
    • GM-01 | Cell Biology (1 lecture, 1 exercise) 
    • GM-02 | Genetics & molecular biology (1 lecture, 2 exercises) 
    • GM-10 | Zoology & evolution of animals (2 lectures, 2 exercises) 
    • GM-11a | Plant physiology (1 lecture, 1 exercise) 
    • GM-11b | Animal physiology (1 lecture, 1 exercise) 
    • GM-12 | Theory of science & ethics (1 lecture)
  • October 1, 2024 until March 31, 2025
    • GM-17 | Statistics (1 Online-exercise)
  • July 1 until July 22, 2024: Specialization modules biologie (as of 5th semester)

  • July 1 until October 1, 2024: Basic modules scientific principles          
    • GM-13 | Physical chemistry (tutorial)
  • July 1 until October 31, 2024: Basic modules scientific principles          
    • GM-13 | Physical chemistry (lecture)
    • GM-13 | Physical chemistry (practical)

Polyvalent dual-major bachelor's degree program Biology

  • July 1 until July 22, 2024: Didactics of biology
    • Didactics of biology ("Experimental course")
  • July 1 until August 26, 2024: Profile modules biology (if interested or to compensate for the chemistry module with second major in chemistry)

  • July 1 until July 22, 2024: Didactics of biology
    • Didactics of biology ("Biology lessons at high school" )
  • July 1 until Setpember 2, 2024: Basic modules

    • GM-10 | Zoology & evolution of animals (2 lectures, 2 exercises)

Master of Science Biology

  • October 7 until Oktober 11, 2024; 8.00 h (!): Orientation modules

    • Register by e-mail to the corresponding module coordinator.

Master of Education Biology

  • July 1 until September 2, 2024: Fachwissenschaft und Fachdidaktik
    • ME-01 | Human Biology ("Biology of man" und "Biology of man")
    • ME-03 | Biotechnology & molecular biology ("Biotechnological application and discourse")
